Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) has signed a Collaboration of Cooperation (CoC) with three respected academies — TVET MARA Masjid Tanah, SLC Auto Academy, and Despark International College (DSIC) — to support and uplift Malaysia’s next generation of automotive professionals.
Guided by Hyundai’s global vision of Progress for Humanity, this initiative underscores HMY’s long-term commitment to nurturing local talent and supporting the sustainable growth of Malaysia’s automotive industry. By investing in education, skills transfer, and future-ready technologies, HMY aims to play an active role in strengthening the nation’s automotive ecosystem for generations to come.
The collaboration introduces a 3-day programme across five sessions in 2026, designed to give students and teachers hands-on exposure to the technologies shaping tomorrow’s mobility. The programme focuses on areas that are crucial to modern vehicle development and aftersales support.
Aimed at equipping some 360 students and teacher participants with the relevant industry skills and knowledge to stay aligned with evolving trends, its topics include:
- Vehicular Network Communication & Advanced Body Electrical
- Advanced Driver-assistance System (ADAS)
- Hydrogen FCEV Future Mobility
- Eco-Friendly Vehicle Systems Safety and Repair
Ms Jahabarnisa Haja Mohideen, Managing Director of Hyundai Motor Malaysia, said: “Hyundai Motor Malaysia is committed to accelerating the future of mobility while making a meaningful contribution to the communities in which we operate.
“Our ‘Sentiasa Di Sisi Anda’ promise extends beyond our customers — it reflects our dedication to supporting local communities and nurturing the next generation.
