Hyundai Motor Malaysia has previewed the upcoming range‑topping variant of its B‑segment MPV, the Hyundai Stargazer X, ahead of its official launch.
Unlike the standard Stargazer shown at KLIMS 2026, the Stargazer X carries a noticeably more rugged and adventurous appearance.
Equipment
At the front, the Stargazer X features a black H emblem, a black/silver radiator grille, and a sportier front bumper.
Along the sides, it is fitted with 17‑inch gloss‑black alloy wheels, side skirts, and wheel‑arch protective cladding.
Additional exterior features include:
- Rear spoiler
- Rear disc brakes
- Roof rails with a 100 kg load rating
Similar to the Prime variant, the Stargazer X is equipped with a 10.25‑inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.25‑inch infotainment display, and an electronic parking brake (EPB).
Other interior features include:
- Column‑mounted shift‑by‑wire gear selector
- Leatherette‑wrapped seats
- Second‑row captain seats
- Floating‑type centre console
- Armrest
- Wireless smartphone charging pad
- Foldable tray table
- Six‑speaker audio system
Safety equipment includes:
- Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
- Rear Occupant Alert (ROA)
- Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go
- Hyundai SmartSense ADAS suite
- Six airbags
Compared to the Indonesian‑market Stargazer X, the Malaysian model does not include:
- Surround View Monitor
- Blind‑Spot View Monitor
- Ambient lighting
- Powered and ventilated driver’s seat
- Nine‑speaker audio system
The Hyundai Stargazer X will be showcased this weekend (8–9 August) at the Hyundai Durian Runtuh event, held at the MBPJ Kelana Jaya Stadium parking area.
