BMW Motorrad Malaysia has announced the official pricing for the 2026 BMW F 450 GS Trophy, starting from RM39,900.

The price includes a 3-Year Warranty Programme and 3-Year Roadside Assistance; insurance is not included.

The motorcycle combines everyday usability, long-distance comfort, and off-road capability in a lightweight, easy-to-handle package.

It features a fully redesigned two-cylinder engine producing 48 hp, paired with a light yet robust chassis and advanced rider-assistance systems.

2026 BMW F 450 GS Trophy introduced in Malaysia – estimated price RM40,000

BMW Motorrad Malaysia today introduced the BMW F 450 GS 2026 for the local market, with an estimated price of RM40,000.

This machine was first showcased as a concept model at the EICMA 2024 motorcycle exhibition.

Specifications

The BMW F 450 GS Trophy is powered by a liquid-cooled, two-cylinder 420 cc engine, producing 48 hp at 8,750 rpm and 43 Nm at 6,750 rpm.

It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.9 seconds, with a top speed of 165 km/h.

There are four riding modes: Rain, Road, Enduro, and Enduro Pro.

Fuel consumption is approximately 3.8 liters per 100 km.

The suspension consists of 43 mm USD telescopic forks at the front, complemented by a single shock absorber with compression and rebound adjustments.

The braking system features Brembo’s 4-piston calipers with a single 310 mm rotor at the front, assisted by a single-piston caliper and a 240 mm rotor at the rear.

This machine is also equipped with the innovative Easy Ride Clutch (ERC) offered as standard, along with additional features like:

  • BMW Shift Assistant Pro
  • ABS Pro

BMW M 1000 R Competition officially launched in Malaysia – priced from RM219,500

BMW Motorrad Malaysia has announced the arrival of the high-performance BMW M 1000 R Competition model, complementing the previously launched M 1000 RR Competition.

This Hyper Naked motorcycle is powered by a 999 cc inline-four engine that produces 210 hp at 13,750 rpm and 113 Nm of torque at 11,000 rpm.

It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, with a top speed exceeding 250 km/h, while still meeting the Euro 5+ emission standards.

Riding control is enhanced by a short-stroke throttle system, Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Riding Modes Pro (which includes Rain, Road, Dynamic, Race, and three Race Pro modes), cruise control, and the Gear Shift Assistant Pro.

Standard features include an M chassis kit, M lightweight battery, M brakes, M titanium exhaust, M seat, and a display screen complete with M startup animations.

This motorcycle is offered in the exclusive M Competition variant featuring the Blackstorm metallic M Motorsport color, along with the full M Competition package, which includes:

2025 BMW R 1300 RT – five variants, priced from RM167,000

BMW Motorrad Malaysia has announced the arrival of the sports-tourer motorcycle for the local market, the BMW R 1300 RT 2025, with a starting price of RM167,000.

This machine is powered by a 1,300 cc twin-cylinder boxer engine that produces 145 hp at 7,750 rpm and a torque of 149 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox and a drive shaft system.

Riders can take advantage of the Automatic Shift Assist (ASA) system for clutchless gear changes in both manual and fully automatic modes.

The suspension system consists of an EVO Telelever for the front axle with a wheel travel of 149 mm and an EVO Paralever for the rear axle with a wheel travel of 158 mm, complete with electronic adjustment.

This machine is also equipped with Dynamic Chassis Adaptation (DCA) that offers two riding positions for comfort and dynamic handling, as well as three riding modes (Rain, Road, Eco).

Other riding assistance features include dynamic traction control (DTC), engine drag torque control (MSR), dynamic brake control (DBC), Integral ABS Pro, active cruise control (ACC), forward collision warning (FCW), and lane departure warning (SWW).

All important information is displayed via a 10.25-inch TFT screen, complete with navigation functions and active media content, which can be integrated through the Connected BMW Motorrad app.

The BMW R 1300 RT is also equipped with a four-channel pro audio system featuring premium components such as tweeters, mid-range speakers, and woofers.

Other features include LED headlights with adaptive light functions, side storage compartments with a capacity of 27 liters each (or an optional 33 liters), and a top case with a capacity of 39 liters (or an optional 54 liters).

Each case can be opened using a central locking system with the aid of an internal lighting system.

The left storage compartment is equipped with a USB Type-C charging port, while the 54-liter case features a backrest with heating function for passenger comfort.

BMW Motorrad Malaysia has announced the official selling price for the 2025 BMW R 1300 GS Adventure, available at all authorized dealers nationwide, starting from RM148,500.

The adventure motorcycle was showcased for the first time at the 2025 Malaysia Autoshow held recently.

In terms of power, the R 1300 GS Adventure is powered by a 1,300 cc twin-cylinder boxer engine that produces 145 hp and 149 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed transmission.

It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 200 km/h.

The BMW R 1300 GS Adventure features a completely new design, including a redesigned chassis supported by the Dynamic Suspension Adjustment (DSA) system.

There are four riding modes available: Rain, Road, Eco, and Enduro, along with the optional Riding Modes Pro for a more personalized performance.

Additionally, the R 1300 GS Adventure is equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Dynamic Traction Control (DTC), Hill Start Control (HSC), Front Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Change Warning, Dynamic Cruise Control (DCC), Engine Drag Torque Control (MSR), and Dynamic Brake Control (DBC).

There is an option to add the Shift Assist Pro functionality for the standard variant, as well as the Automated Shift Assistant for the three other variants (Style GS Trophy, Triple Black, and Option 719).

As standard, the BMW R 1300 GS Adventure comes with a Touring package that adds features such as chrome manifolds, navigation devices, and mounts for aluminum storage boxes.

BMW R18 Roctane launched in Malaysia – RM160,000 est.

BMW Motorrad Malaysia has introduced the new BMW R18 Roctane at the BMW Premium Selection (BPS) showcase that took place at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium early this month.

As the fifth edition to the R18 family, the Roctane comes in as a fresh combination of time-honoured design elements with updated contemporary riding technology, culminating to provide a uniquely stylish touring experience.

Drawing inspiration from the legendary R5, the R18 Roctane is built upon a double-loop tubular steel frame, a hallmark of BMW Motorrad’s design tradition. Akin to the the R5, the rear swinging arm envelops the rear axle drive in a timeless fashion.

It also boasts well-balanced ergonomics with the presence of a ‘mid-mounted foot peg’ configuration and a two-level seat, as well as updated running boards, gearshift paddle, and high handlebars coated in sleek black.

The R18 Roctane is available Mineral Grey Metallic as well as Manhattan Metallic Matt – two distinct colourways that celebrate its rebellious character.

At the heart of the motorcycle sits the traditional air-cooled two-cylinder four-stroke boxer engine, the largest boxer engine of the Heritage line-up. With a capacity of 1,802 cc, it delivers 91 hp at 4,750 rpm and 150 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful two-cylinder boxer engine ever produced by BMW Motorrad.

Riding assistance features come in the form of Automatic Stability Control (ASC), along with three standard riding modes – Rock, Roll and Rain.

Optional features include the new Adaptive Headlight, Hill Start Control, Headlight Pro, Reverse Gear Aid, Daytime Riding Light, Cruise Control, and fuel filler cap lockable.

The estimated pricing for the R18 Roctane is RM160,000.

PDRM to receive 20 BMW R 1250 RT bikes for escort duties

A Facebook post made by Armorblaze seems to have confirmed that the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) will be adding 20 BMW R 1250 RT motorcycles to its fleet.

According to Armorblaze, the motorcycles will be deployed for Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister escort duties.

Armorblaze is a vehicle detailing center in Ampang and according to the post, had been tasked with designing the livery for the motorcycles.

As seen, the R 1250 RT units feature the trademark blue-white colour theme synonymous with PDRM as well as reflective strips, with ‘POLIS’ wording on the windscreen, fairing and panniers. There are also blue strobe lights at the front and rear.

The R 1250 RT is powered by a 1,249 cc two-cylinder boxer engine capable of producing 136 hp and 143 Nm, allowing it to reach speeds of more than 200 km/h.

Key features include the Telelever and Paralever front and rear suspension system, ABS Pro, Adaptive Cruise Control, Dynamic Traction Control, three riding modes, and a 10.25-inch TFT screen.
