Michelin Malaysia launches Primacy 5 tires specifically for SUVs

Michelin Malaysia has announced the launch of its renowned Michelin Primacy 5 tires designed for sport utility vehicles (SUVs).

Up to 34 new sizes are being introduced, catering to rims ranging from 16 to 22 inches.

This expansion adds more size options for both internal combustion engine (ICE) and electric vehicle (EV) models.

This new SUV tire variant features reinforced sidewalls for improved stability and higher shock resistance.

It is also equipped with Michelin’s proprietary technologies, including:

  • EverGrip, EverTread & Functional Elastomers 3.0: Shortens wet road braking distances by 16% and offers excellent performance in wet moose avoidance tests.
  • MaxTouch: Maximizes contact with the road surface, ensuring longer tire tread life.
  • High-Performance Tread Compounds: Reduces rolling resistance by 10%, contributing to energy efficiency and extending EV range.

With Hari Raya fast approaching, Continental Tyres Malaysia is offering a special promotion for those in search of new tires.

Continental Tyres is offering up to RM200 in Touch ‘n Go e-wallet credit for the purchase of selected Continental, Dunlop, and Viking brand tires nationwide.

Customers will automatically qualify for the exclusive Hari Raya promotion by registering for the Total Confidence Plan (TCP) through the Conti TCP application.

Considering that this special offer is extended to both new and existing customers throughout the Ramadan and Aidilfitri period, the Touch ‘n Go e-wallet credit will only be received by customers after verification and redemption status.

TCP is a plan that provides additional guarantee and a comprehensive package that enables customers to receive one-for-one tire replacement in the event of tire damage resulting from unforeseen road conditions within one year of purchase.

Continental, Dunlop, and Viking users can register and file warranty claims anytime and anywhere through the available Conti TCP application on Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

This offer is valid from March 15th to April 30th, with a minimum purchase of two Continental tires from 15 inches and above, or two Dunlop and Viking tires from 17 inches and above.

Specifically for passenger cars, SUVs, MPVs, and 4×4 vehicles from any participating dealer nationwide or on the official Continental Shopee and Lazada e-commerce stores to redeem Touch ‘n Go e-wallet credit of up to RM200.
