2026 Ford Ranger XL, Sport & Platinum officially launched in Malaysia – priced from RM127,888

Sime Darby Auto ConneXion-Ford has officially introduced three new variants of the 2026 Ford Ranger pickup truck in Malaysia.

Official pricing is as follows:

  • Ford Ranger Platinum – RM205,888
  • Ford Ranger Sport 3.0L – RM159,888
  • Ford Ranger Sport 2.0L – RM145,888
  • Ford Ranger XL – RM127,888

Since its debut in 2022, more than 24,000 units of the latest-generation Ford Ranger have been recorded on Malaysian roads.

The introduction of these three new variants is expected to cater to a wider range of customer needs, offering capabilities such as:

  • 1,000 kg payload capacity
  • Up to 3.5‑ton towing capability
  • 800 mm water‑wading depth

The Ford Ranger also comes equipped with a 12-inch infotainment display, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, and a suite of smart driver-assistance technologies.

Ford Ranger Platinum

The Platinum variant serves as the premium offering, delivering versatile high performance.

It is powered by a 3.0‑litre V6 turbodiesel producing 250 PS at 3,250 rpm and 600 Nm at 1,750 rpm, paired with a 10‑speed automatic transmission.

Key equipment includes:

  • 20-inch alloy wheels
  • Platinum front grille
  • Flexible rack system
  • Platinum interior trim
  • Leather seats with heating and ventilation for the front row
  • Bang & Olufsen audio system with 8 speakers
  • Colour options: Acacia Green, Meteor Grey, Absolute Black

Ford Ranger Sport

Positioned as a balanced all-rounder, the Ranger Sport is designed for both performance and everyday usability.

It is offered with a 2.0‑litre turbo diesel paired with a part-time 4WD system, while the 3.0‑litre V6 turbo variant comes with full-time 4WD.

Ford Ranger XL

The XL variant is tailored as a rugged workhorse for business owners, fleet operators, and commercial users.

It is powered by a 2.0‑litre single‑turbo diesel producing 170 PS at 3,500 rpm and 405 Nm from 1,750–2,500 rpm, paired with a 10‑speed automatic transmission.
