BYD Sime Motors recently organised the largest BYD owners gathering ever held in Malaysia.

More than 800 attendees joined the event, including BYD owners, business partners, staff members, and the BYD management team.

The event was further enlivened by the presence of world‑renowned football legends:

• Steven Gerrard
• Michael Owen
• Ryan Giggs
• Alessandro Del Piero
• Dida
• Javier Saviola

The programme began on 2 October with the arrival of the invited guests in Kuala Lumpur, followed by appearances at the BYD Glenmarie and TREC KL showrooms.

Held at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), BYD owners and their families had the opportunity to meet the football icons through meet‑and‑greet sessions, legend talk shows, a gala dinner, and a friendly football match.

There was also a special pre‑match activity where selected children from BYD owner families were given the chance to walk onto the pitch with the football stars.

The gathering also provided owners with the opportunity to connect with fellow BYD drivers and share experiences beyond their daily journeys.

This initiative reflects BYD Sime Motors’ commitment to enhancing the ownership experience beyond mobility, while creating meaningful opportunities to grow and strengthen the existing BYD community.
