2026 Leapmotor C10 Plus officially launched in Malaysia – starting from RM148,000

Stellantis Malaysia has announced the arrival of the new variant of the 2026 Leapmotor C10 Plus electric SUV for the local market.

This new variant is priced starting from RM148,000.

 

C10 Plus Specifications

Compared to the existing model, the C10 Plus features upgrades such as:

  • 800V electric architecture
  • 81.9 kWh battery pack
  • Driving range of 510 km (WLTP data)
  • 299 hp electric motor with 360 Nm of torque
  • Acceleration from 0-100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds

Despite having a more powerful powertrain, the C10 Plus is now more energy-efficient, with a consumption rate of 15.1 Wh/km.

The C10 Plus also supports fast DC charging at 180 kW, allowing the battery to charge from 30% to 80% in just 22 minutes.

 

Exclusive C10 Plus Night Edition

The C10 Plus is available in a limited Night Edition, with only 50 units available.

For an additional RM8,000, buyers of the C10 Plus Night Edition will receive exclusive features such as:

  • Two-tone color scheme
  • Aerodynamic body kit
  • 20-inch Trident rims with a matte black finish

Promotion

Malaysians can enjoy savings of up to RM13,000, including a RM9,000 rebate and a RM4,000 insurance subsidy for early customers.

This promotion is valid until March 31, 2026.

The Leapmotor C10 Plus and C10 Plus Night Edition will also be on display at the Orange Concourse, Sunway Pyramid from February 27 to March 1, 2026.

2026 Chery Tiggo 8 officially launched in Malaysia – starting from RM129,800

Chery Malaysia has recently announced the new variant of the Chery Tiggo 8, adding to its existing offerings.

Compared to the previous Tiggo 8 model, the 2026 Tiggo 8 now features a 1.6-liter TGDi engine that produces 197 PS and 290 Nm of torque, paired with a 7-speed DCT transmission.

With a full fuel tank capacity of 57 liters, the Tiggo 8 boasts a fuel consumption rate of 7 liters per 100 km.

In terms of exterior features, the Tiggo 8 includes automatic LED headlights, daytime running lights (DRLs), LED taillights with sequential turn indicators, 18-inch alloy wheels, a spoiler, and roof rails.

This new variant can be distinguished from the PHEV version by its taillights, which do not have a full-width LED strip.

The cabin features a 10.25-inch digital cluster screen and a central 12.3-inch display, unlike the PHEV variant which has a larger 15.6-inch central screen.

Other features include a separate control screen for the air conditioning system, 7-color ambient lighting, a driver’s seat with six-way adjustment and memory function, support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Sony audio system with 8 speakers, a 360-degree camera, an N95 cabin filter, and USB charging ports.

As standard, the Tiggo 8 is equipped with safety features such as six airbags, ABS, EBD, Brake Assist, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Start Assist Control (HAC), Hill Descent Control (HDC), and ISOFIX anchors.

Additionally, advanced safety features include Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Blind Spot Monitoring (BSD), Front and Rear Collision Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Intelligent High Beam Control (IHC), and Distance Warning System (DWS).

The Chery Tiggo 8 2026 is available in two color options: Dark Black and Khaki White.

The starting retail price is RM129,800, which includes a package valued at RM13,700 comprising:

  • A 7-year or up to 150,000 km warranty*
