2026 iCaur 03 now available as CKD unit, priced at RM129,880

iCaur Malaysia has announced that the CKD version of the electric SUV iCaur 03 will arrive at dealers by the end of May.

The assembly program for this CKD model began in the second quarter of 2026 at the Chery Corporate Malaysia plant in Shah Alam.

Specifications Remain Unchanged

The iCaur 03 CKD will be offered in a single variant, the iWD with no changes to the specifications.

It features a dual-motor setup producing 279 PS and 385 Nm of torque, while the 69.8 kWh battery pack provides a driving range of 418 km (NEDC data).

This SUV supports AC charging at 6.6 kW, DC fast charging at 80 kW, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality at 3.2 kW.

The starting price is RM129,880 on the road, excluding insurance.

iCaur Malaysia is also offering a package that includes a 7 kW home AC charger and a complimentary scheduled service package for 2 years or up to 45,000 km, whichever comes first.

Sales Performance for April 2026

In April 2026, iCaur recorded 547 registered units across its models.

This achievement indicates a growing market interest in its new energy vehicles (NEVs), which combine retro design, smart technology, and practicality.

According to Francis Chin, Senior Director of iCaur Malaysia, “The iCaur 03 has captured the attention of Malaysian drivers because it offers something different in the EV space.

“The shift to local assembly is an important step for us. It combines local pride with global technology, allowing us to meet the increasing demand without changing what customers love about the iCaur 03,” he added.

iCaur Malaysia remains focused on its long-term strategy to introduce a more diverse, stylish, and sustainable range of NEVs in the future.
