The introduction of the 2026 IS model puts to rest most speculation that Lexus would launch a new generation of the IS.
This is because the 2026 IS is essentially the third facelift version, following two previous iterations introduced in 2017 and 2020.
The most noticeable change is at the front, where the spindle grille structure has been redesigned, and the Lexus logo has been repositioned to the top.
This redesign gives the front bumper a more aggressive appearance.

Volvo has officially unveiled its latest SUV, the 2026 XC70, marking the start of the pre-sales for the Chinese market.
Built on the Scalable Modular Architecture (SMA) platform, the Volvo XC70 is no longer just a high wagon, as seen in its previous versions.

In terms of dimensions, the Zeekr 7X measures 4,787 mm in length, 1,930 mm in width, 1,650 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,900 mm.
This means that in Malaysia, the Zeekr 7X competes with models such as the BYD Sealion 7, Tesla Model Y, and Xpeng G6.
The Zeekr SUV features a double wishbone setup at the front, followed by a multi-link setup at the rear.
Regarding charging, the Zeekr 7X supports AC charging at 22 kW, as well as DC fast charging up to 450 kW (with the exception of the two higher variants, which support 420 kW), allowing for a 10-80% charge in as little as 10.5 minutes (16 minutes for the two higher variants).

The total power output reaches 605 PS and torque measures 915 Nm, enabling acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds.
With a three-speed hybrid DHT transmission, the Omoda C9 PHEV boasts fuel consumption as low as 1.7 liters per 100 km.
Its 34.46 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery pack offers an emission-free range of up to 150 km, contributing to an overall driving range of 1,100 km.
Additionally, it supports AC charging of up to 6.6 kW and fast DC charging of up to 70 kW.
Like the C9 ICE model, the C9 PHEV is also equipped with MacPherson strut and multi-link suspension setups, as well as a Continuous Damping Control (CDC) system that can adjust suspension response up to 100 times per second.
There are up to seven driving modes available to adapt to current driving conditions.
The estimated selling price for the Omoda C9 PHEV is around RM220,000.
For reference, the standard Omoda C9 variant starts at RM168,000 for the 2WD version, and RM188,000 for the all-wheel drive (AWD) version.
After a prolonged teaser session, Honda has officially confirmed that the sixth-generation Prelude is set to launch in the Japanese market this September.
The Honda Prelude made its global debut during the Japan Mobility Show 2023, which took place two years ago.

1. More than Just a Civic Coupe
Honda has used the Civic’s platform to develop the Prelude model, but with a distinctly different design approach.
The Prelude features larger diameter tires, an optimized wheelbase, and an overall design inspired by sports car aesthetics.

Honda does not intend for the Prelude to be significantly sportier than the existing Civic Type R offerings.
Nevertheless, the Prelude is still characterized as an ideal sports car, balancing performance and practicality.

At this time, Honda is not ready to reveal the full specifications of this hybrid coupe.
What is certain, however, is that there will be no manual transmission option available.
The Honda Prelude will feature a 2.0-liter hybrid engine setup with two electric motors borrowed from the Civic Hybrid, producing 200 hp and 315 Nm of torque.

4. Cabin Design
Although built on the Civic platform, the dashboard layout of the Prelude has been given its own unique character.
