Bike Continent Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Lambretta in Malaysia, has unveiled two new scooters at Art of Speed 2026.
The models introduced are the Lambretta J200 and Lambretta X250GP Speedster.
Lambretta J200 Specifications
This all‑new model draws inspiration from the J Series of the 1960s, including the J50, J100 and J125 Starstream.
It is powered by a 174.5 cc single‑cylinder engine producing 16.8 hp at 8,500 rpm and 15.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
Suspension consists of a double arm‑link front setup, paired with twin spring shock absorbers at the rear.
Other features include:
- disc brake system with dual‑channel ABS
- 12‑inch wheels
- 9‑litre fuel tank
- 780 mm seat height
- full LED lighting
- TFT digital display
Four colour options are available: Gemme White, Super Black, Cocoa Brown, and Light Gray.
Lambretta Malaysia also announced a strategic partnership with Vico through the new “Vico Bytes to Ride” campaign, running from 1 August to 30 September.
Eight winners will be selected weekly to receive a Lambretta J200 Vico Edition.
Lambretta X250GP Speedster Specifications
The second model showcased at AOS 2026 is the Lambretta X250GP Speedster.
This redesigned scooter features a sportier colour scheme and graphics inspired by classic Grand Prix racing motorcycles.
The X250GP Speedster is powered by a 244 cc liquid‑cooled single‑cylinder engine delivering 22.8 hp at 8,500 rpm and 22 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
Its semi‑monocoque frame is supported by a double pulled wheel swing arm and twin YSS front shock absorbers, complemented by twin YSS rear shocks.
Key features include:
- 220 mm front disc / 219 mm rear disc
- 12‑inch wheels
- 7.5‑litre fuel tank
- 770 mm seat height
- LED lighting
Three colours are offered: Latte Brown, Super Black, and Aurora Grey Matte.
