Goodyear Malaysia launches Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 and Asymmetric 6 SUV – prices starting from RM509

Goodyear Malaysia has launched its new premium tire products, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 and the Asymmetric 6 SUV, coinciding with the 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon Kuala Lumpur event held recently.

Since its introduction in 1980, the Goodyear Eagle F1 series has become synonymous with innovation inspired by motorsport.

Designated as the Official Tire of 2025 TASKL, Goodyear Malaysia believes that the latest Eagle Asymmetric 6 SUV tire will meet the needs of customers seeking a balance between performance and comfort.

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric SUV features four key technologies:

  • Wet Braking Pro – Improved handling and braking on wet roads.
  • Dry Contact Plus – Outstanding performance on dry surfaces.
  • Quiet Performance – Tread pattern that ensures a quieter driving experience.
  • Duraguard – A robust tire construction designed to withstand unexpected road hazards.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric is available in sizes ranging from 17 inches to 21 inches, with retail prices starting as low as RM509.

Meanwhile, the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 6 SUV is offered in sizes from 18 to 20 inches, with prices beginning at RM793. This product is also suitable for use on electric vehicles (EVs).

Additionally, Goodyear Malaysia has announced a special promotion whereby every purchase of selected Goodyear tires, sized 17 inches and above, will receive a Touch ’n Go e-wallet credit of up to RM200, valid until August 31, 2025.

Goodyear donates Cargo Marathon 2 tyres to St. John Ambulance Malaysia

Goodyear Malaysia recently donated 60 units of Goodyear Cargo Marathon 2 tyres to the St. John Ambulance Malaysia, with contribution value exceeding RM25,000.

For nearly two decades, Goodyear Malaysia has played an active role in supporting St. John Ambulance to ensure their emergency vehicles are equipped with high-performance tyres.

This long-term collaboration reflects Goodyear’s mission and commitment to contribute to society by empowering those who safeguard public health and safety.

“St. John Ambulance is the foundation of emergency medical services in Malaysia, and Goodyear is proud to support their humanitarian and charitable work focused on saving lives,” said Ashwin Rajgopal, Managing Director of Goodyear Malaysia.

“Our latest donation reaffirms our dedication to ensuring that St. John Ambulance vehicles can perform at their best under any road conditions. By equipping their ambulances with advanced technology tyres, we can enhance the safety and efficiency of their operations so that aid can be delivered promptly, without any delays,” he added.

The Goodyear Cargo Marathon 2 tyre was selected to meet the needs of St. John Ambulance’s emergency response services, including at hemodialysis centers, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and KLIA2.

It features superior characteristics such as a polymer thread compound to ensure enhanced driving performance and braking on wet roads, as well as a closed flower pattern to ensure increased durability along with a quieter and smoother journey.

With the purchase of any Goodyear tire, each customer is eligible to receive the Worry Free Assurance (WFA) comprehensive guarantee package, which provides road hazard protection for one year.

Customers will also receive free tire safety checks twice, as well as a five-year guarantee for any purchased tire imperfections.
