Chery unveiled two new SUVs for global markets, the TIGGO 7 and TIGGO X7, at Chery Brand Night.
The all-new third-generation TIGGO 7 focuses on everyday urban journeys, while the TIGGO X7 is designed for families who enjoy outdoor adventures.
TIGGO 7
The third-generation TIGGO 7 adopts a design approach broadly similar to the second-generation model sold in Malaysia.
It retains its tiger-inspired identity, paired with a yacht-inspired cabin.
Inside, the TIGGO 7 offers height-adjustable front seats and adjustable rear seat backrests.
Its air-conditioning system is also designed to cool or heat the cabin quickly.
For safety, the new model features a cage-type body structure comprising more than 80% high-strength steel.
This is complemented by more than 20 active safety and driver-assistance functions.
TIGGO X7
Compared with the TIGGO 7’s softer styling, the TIGGO X7 adopts a more rugged appearance, drawing inspiration from established off-road SUVs.
Combining comfortable urban driving with the ability to tackle varied terrain, it offers features including:
- A 3-6-1 driving mode system.
- An all-terrain chassis.
- Off-road crawl control.
- Ground clearance of more than 200 mm.
- A wading depth of up to 700 mm.
- A 540-degree camera system to improve visibility around the vehicle.
The TIGGO X7’s cabin also focuses on six aspects of comfort: temperature, humidity, air freshness, cleanliness, quietness and personalisation.
According to Chery, this approach helps create a comfortable environment and reduce fatigue on long journeys.
For added practicality, the second-row seats fold down at the touch of a button, providing more room for camping equipment and luggage.
