2026 Honda Prelude: bookings now open

Honda Malaysia has announced the opening of bookings for the new 2026 Honda Prelude model, which will be launched soon.

The return of this iconic nameplate marks an important milestone as it is the first hybrid sports coupe model in Honda Malaysia’s history.

Specifications of the Honda Prelude

This brand-new Prelude is powered by a 2.0-liter e:HEV powertrain that produces 184 PS and 315 Nm of torque.

The model is also equipped with S+ Shift technology, combined with Active Sound Control features.

This system simulates gear changes and offers quicker throttle response for a more enjoyable driving experience.

Sharing a platform with the Civic, the Prelude 2026 measures 4,522 mm in length, 1,880 mm in width, and 1,355 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,605 mm.

Honda Malaysia has also launched a new campaign titled “Hybrid Done Right.”

From April 1 to June 30, 2026, customers who purchase the Honda e:HEV model will enjoy the following benefits:

Honda Malaysia leads non-national passenger car segment for 12 consecutive years

Honda Malaysia continues to lead the passenger car segment in Malaysia for 12 consecutive years.

Throughout 2025, Honda successfully sold 72,301 vehicles, capturing a market share of 8.8 percent.

 

Honda HR-V is the Best-Selling Model

Among the total sales, the Honda HR-V emerged as the best-selling model, accounting for 25 percent of total sales, followed closely by the City (24 percent) and the CR-V (15 percent).

Honda Malaysia also made significant contributions from e:HEV variants, with the HR-V and CR-V together representing over 30 percent of total hybrid vehicle sales.

First Hybrid Model Launched 21 Years Ago

Final Winners Announced for the Because of You Campaign

The Because of You campaign launched in October 2025 to commemorate the 25th anniversary, has reached its conclusion.

Four lucky winners were announced last year, and today Honda revealed the final two winners for December 2025.

Cheah Wei Kong from Selangor won a City 1.5L RS after purchasing a Honda e:N1. Meanwhile, Muhammad Syabil bin Muzafar from Perak won an HR-V 1.5L Turbo V after buying a Civic 1.5L Turbo V.

Honda Malaysia celebrates November winners of its 25th anniversary ‘Because of You’ campaign

Honda Malaysia continued its 25th anniversary celebrations by announcing the winners for November of its “Because of You” campaign.

The prizes, a Civic 1.5L RS and a CR-V 2.0L e:HEV RS, were handed over to the lucky winners at the dealers.

Mr. Zulkeffli bin Abdul Rahman from Negeri Sembilan, who purchased the HR-V 1.5T V as a second car for his family, was extremely happy to learn of his win. He was unable to attend the ceremony and his daughters, Ms. Nuramirah Binti Zulkeffli and Ms. Nuratikah Binti Zulkeffli, accepted the key to the prize on his behalf.

Since entering the new energy vehicle sector, BYD has successfully reduced over 9.3 million tons of CO2 emissions worldwide.

Locally, BYD and Denza have sold a total of 12,872 units as of November 2025, reflecting a 76% increase compared to the same period last year.

Since day one, total sales in Malaysia have surpassed 25,233 units, equivalent to reducing CO2 emissions by 62,191 tons annually or planting nearly 2.5 million trees.

Sime Motors has also played a crucial role in accelerating electric mobility in Malaysia.

In the past three years, Sime Motors and BYD have introduced seven EV models, established 39 sales and marketing branches, 24 after-sales branches, and 12 authorized body and paint centers.

Honda Malaysia announce first two lucky winners of its 25th anniversary campaign

Honda Malaysia shared the joy of its 25th anniversary celebration with the announcement of the first two lucky winners of its “Because of You” campaign.

The prizes of a City Hatchback RS and a WR-V RS were presented at a special appreciation event.

The lucky winner of the City Hatchback RS, Mr. Chin from Perak, entered the contest after purchasing a Platinum White Pearl Civic RS.

He said, “Owning a Civic has always been my dream as I am captivated by its striking appearance and powerful performance that stays true to the Civic DNA. Receiving my new car was already exciting, but winning the City Hatchback RS on top of that makes it even more special. I was shocked when they called to inform that I won – I thought it was scam! Modenas offering free labour charges, special discounts on servicing until March 28

Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (Modenas), a subsidiary of DRB-Hicom, has announced the launch of the ‘Mai Servis Motor Sambut Raya’ campaign, which runs from March 14 to 28, 2025.

Three lucky Peugeot 408 owners fly to Paris this March

Peugeot Malaysia has announced the three lucky winners of the Buy and Win campaign held from July 9 to October 31 last year.

In this campaign, customers who booked and registered their purchase of a Peugeot 408 had the chance to win a Business Class holiday package to Paris for three days and two nights, as well as to participate in the prestigious Paris Fashion Week 2025.

Touch ‘n Go launches e-Mas, cash rebates campaign for every RFID purchase

Touch ‘n Go (TnG) has launched two new campaigns aimed at enhancing the experience of Malaysians using digital wallets.

The e-Mas RFID campaign, which is valid from October 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025, offers TnG eWallet users the opportunity to receive e-Mas, a digital gold that will be credited directly to their accounts.

To qualify, users only need to purchase an RFID tag during the mentioned period, where 100 lucky winners will be selected each month to receive a cash rebate of e-Gold worth RM100.

Meanwhile, the RFID Cashback Rebate campaign offers a RM5 rebate for every purchase of an RFID tag at authorized installation or service centers nationwide, from November 1, 2024, to January 31, 2025.

This rebate will reduce the price of the RFID tag from RM35 to RM30 and is limited to the first 27,500 eligible customers who make payments using the TnG eWallet.

Proton and Grab launch the “Saga Power Up for Grab Drivers” campaign, starting this November 4

Proton recently signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with Grab Malaysia, offering exclusive benefits to e-hailing drivers when they purchase a Proton Saga.

This collaboration aims to enhance the driving experience and support the growing needs in the e-hailing industry.

The initiative is also expected to provide benefits to drivers, users, and further strengthen the positions of both companies in the market.

The MoA was signed by Roslan Abdullah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Proton, and Rashid Shukor, Director of Operations and National Mobility for Grab Malaysia.

Starting from November 4, the “Saga Power Up for Grab Drivers” campaign will grant priority access to Grab driver partners to own a Proton Saga.

The campaign includes incentives and offers such as cash rebates and a 5% service discount valid for the first two years or up to 40,000 km.

Bermaz offers diesel at RM1.05/liter for 5 years for new Kia Carnival buyers

Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of the Kia brand vehicles in Malaysia, has launched a special campaign for the Kia Carnival model.

The “Fuel-on-Us” campaign, which runs from October 1 to December 31, 2024, allows new Kia Carnival owners to enjoy subsidized diesel prices at RM1.05/liter for a period of five years without worrying about changes in fuel prices every week.

To participate in this campaign, customers must register their purchase of the Kia Carnival through any authorized Kia dealer during the campaign period.

Each purchase is eligible for only one application.

The Kia Carnival comes with a 2.2-liter turbo diesel engine producing 202 PS and 440 Nm of torque.

With a fuel tank capacity of 72 liters, the Kia Carnival offers a fuel consumption rate of 6.5 liters/100 km, providing a range of up to 850 km on a full tank of fuel.

In Malaysia, the Kia Carnival is offered in three main variants, with prices starting from RM198,500.

Boon Siew launches limited-time campaign, buy RS-X and get RM300 TnG e-wallet credit!

Boon Siew Honda has announced a limited-time campaign for enthusiasts of the popular Honda RS-X motorcycle.

Starting from the 7th to the 31st of October, customers who purchase a Honda RS-X will receive RM300 worth of Touch ‘n Go e-wallet credit.

The TnG e-wallet credit can be used to purchase fuel, allowing RS-X owners to enjoy journeys of over 7,000 km.

To qualify for the mentioned benefits, customers only need to register their motorcycles during the campaign period and then proceed to the Honda X  to receive the RM300 e-wallet credit directly.

The Honda RS-X is still powered by a 149cc single-cylinder engine capable of producing 15.8 hp and 13.6 Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.
