BYD Sime Motors, the official distributor of BYD cars in Malaysia, has further strengthened its retail presence in the Klang Valley with the opening of BYD Rawang.

Operated by BE Autohaus under BE Group, the new outlet marks the group’s third BYD showroom, expanding access to BYD’s electric vehicle line-up for customers in Rawang and surrounding communities.

Located within a rapidly developing area in the northern part of the Klang Valley, BYD Rawang is positioned to serve a growing customer base, offering a welcoming and contemporary environment for customers to explore BYD’s electric vehicles.

European architecture

Spanning 4,298 sq. ft. on a 10,803 sq. ft. site, the showroom draws inspiration from European architecture, with light-coloured finishes, balanced proportions and subtle castle-inspired details.

It can accommodate up to five vehicles and features a customer lounge and dedicated new car delivery room, providing a comfortable experience from vehicle discovery to handover.

BE Group began its journey with BYD in November 2022 through BYD Setia Alam, operated by BE Drive Auto, before expanding to BYD Kota Kemuning under BE Motorworld in September 2024. BYD Rawang, operated by BE Autohaus, represents its third outlet under the BYD network.

A Showroom that Supports the Local Creative Community

Beyond its role as an automotive retail outlet, BYD Rawang also introduces a community initiative aimed at supporting emerging local artists. Through a dedicated showcase within the showroom, aspiring artists will have the opportunity to exhibit and sell their works, providing greater exposure for local creative talent while offering visitors an additional experience during their showroom visit.

Selected artists will exhibit their works at BYD Rawang for a period of three months, with showcases refreshed quarterly to ensure a dynamic and evolving experience for visitors.

Submission guidelines and eligibility requirements will be announced through BYD Rawang’s official social media channels, with all applications reviewed and shortlisted artists notified directly. In support of the artistic community, all exhibited artworks will be available for purchase, with participating artists retaining 100% of the proceeds from any sales, as no commission will be charged.

To celebrate the opening, BYD Rawang will hold a launch open house from 19 to 30 October 2026, featuring test drives, exclusive launch-period offers on selected BYD models and lucky draw prizes for customers who book during the event.
