Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd today officially launched its latest high-performance tire, the Potenza Adrenalin RE005 for the local market.

Michael Chung, Managing Director of Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, stated, “The Potenza Adrenalin RE005 reflects our commitment to offering exhilarating performance that meets the high expectations of today’s drivers.”

“Developed with Bridgestone’s motorsport DNA, this tire is designed to provide confident control, responsive handling, and a driving experience perfectly suited for Malaysia’s roads and weather conditions,” he added.

The tire is available in 46 different sizes, catering to rim diameters ranging from 15 to 20 inches. Retail prices range from RM351 to RM1,543.

Continuing the RE004 Legacy

 

 

As the fifth generation in the series, the RE005 builds upon the successful legacy of its predecessor, the Adrenalin RE004.

Key technical enhancements include an 8 percent improvement in dry grip and a 10 percent increase in wet grip, resulting in more consistent performance across various driving environments.

The tire features a wide block design that helps distribute pressure evenly, ensuring firmer traction and more precise control on both dry and wet surfaces.

Additionally, optimized connection blocks and A-shaped grooves contribute to superior stability during high-speed cornering and maneuvering. The inclusion of a wider internal rib design also ensures faster steering response.

Confident Control on Wet Roads

Engineered specifically for rainy conditions, the unique groove design enhances water evacuation capabilities, significantly reducing the risk of hydroplaning.

Furthermore, a new generation rubber compound improves overall grip and responsiveness.

This specialized compound offers enhanced heat resistance to ensure consistent, reliable performance. It also helps reduce rolling resistance, which contributes to better fuel efficiency.

The Multi-Round Block design further optimizes contact pressure on the tire shoulder, maximizing tread life and maintaining performance longevity.
