Peugeot Motocycles officially opens first dealership in Penang

French motorcycle brand Peugeot Motocycles has officially inaugurated its first flagship dealership in Bukit Tambun, Penang.

Operated by Chuan Keat Motor Trading Sdn Bhd, this premier experience center offers a comprehensive suite of facilities, including:

  • A dedicated service center
  • A specialized spare parts department
  • Official accessories
  • A lifestyle merchandise area

To mark the grand opening, three signature models—the XP400 GTDjango, and Speedfight 4+—are available for public test rides.

In a move to reward early supporters, Chuan Keat Motor also announced an exclusive promotional package reserved for the first 30 customers who place a booking.

Laurent Lilti, CEO of Peugeot Motocycles, expressed his pride regarding the brand’s reception in the region.

“Welcoming our first customers for the XP400 GT and Speedfight 4+ is a proud milestone. It proves that Malaysian riders have long been anticipating a premium alternative in the scooter segment,” he stated.

Tan Soon Wei, General Manager of Aveta International, added that the company will ensure comprehensive coverage through the Aveta Care on Wheels program to guarantee a seamless ownership experience for all customers.

Following the Penang launch, Peugeot Motocycles plans to aggressively expand its network across Johor, the Klang Valley, Kedah, Melaka, Negeri Sembilan, and Pahang. Further launches are scheduled to take place from June through the third quarter of 2026.

Peugeot Motorcycles officially in Malaysia, launches 4 stylish scooter models

Aveta International has announced the arrival of the French motorcycle brand, Peugeot Motorcycles in the Malaysian market.

In conjunction with this introduction, four scooter models were launched simultaneously, consisting of:

  • XP400 GT – RM43,990
  • Django Classic 150 – RM14,990
  • Django Cafe Racer 150 – RM16,990
  • Speedfight 4+ – RM9,990

Steven Lim, Managing Director of Aveta International Group, confirmed that several models (including the Django and Speedfight 4+) will be assembled as Completely Knocked Down (CKD) under the Aveta Eco 5 initiative.

Throughout 2026, Peugeot Motorcycles Malaysia aims to open 10 to 15 exclusive dealerships in various urban locations.

The first flagship experience center, located in Bukit Tambun, Penang, will open on May 9, followed by locations in Johor Bahru and the Klang Valley as early as June 2026.
