Mercedes-Benz Malaysia launches 4S Kuantan Autohaus, the largest on the East Coast

Mercedes-Benz Malaysia and Asbenz Stern Sdn. Bhd. today unveiled a new Autohaus in Kuantan, further strengthening the brand’s retail presence in the East Coast region.

Strategically located in Indera Mahkota, a rapidly growing suburb and business hub, the facility is designed to deliver a refined and elevated customer journey. It also stands as the largest Mercedes-Benz Autohaus on the East Coast.

The new Autohaus reflects the latest Mercedes-Benz retail brand presence, focused on delivering a seamless, digitalised, and intuitive customer journey.

Spanning 26,565 sq ft of showroom display and customer spaces within a total built-up area of 65,340 sq ft, the facility presents a modern integration of end-to-end customer touchpoints from sales to aftersales and everything in between.

Customers can explore up to six vehicles on display, showcasing a broader range of the Mercedes-Benz portfolio.

Complementing this are thoughtfully curated customer touchpoints such as the Star Lounge and access to the Mercedes-Benz Lifestyle Collection, creating a welcoming and engaging atmosphere throughout each visit.

Marking a first for Asbenz Stern, the Kuantan Autohaus now includes integrated body and paint services, further strengthening its aftersales offering on the East Coast.

Equipped with up to 16 fully equipped work bays, the facility supports everything from scheduled maintenance to more extensive repair work, all carried out by Mercedes-Benz trained and certified technicians to ensure consistent quality and care.

Supporting the growing shift towards electric mobility, the Autohaus is also equipped with on-site DC fast-charging infrastructure of up to 120 kW, capable of charging two vehicles simultaneously. This provides greater convenience and accessibility for owners of all-electric and plug-in hybrid models.

Mitsubishi Motors Miri showroom upgraded to new 4S centre

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has announced that its existing showroom in Miri has been relocated and upgraded into a brand new 4S centre.

Spanning 21,669 square feet, this 4S centre consolidates all sales and after-sales needs under one roof.

The facility, reflecting Mitsubishi Motors’ global corporate image, also offers amenities such as:

  • A spacious vehicle showroom
  • A comfortable customer lounge with light refreshments
  • 13 service bays
  • Six body and paint (B&P) bays

The 4S centre is operated by Auto Pacifica, a Mitsubishi Motors dealer since 2009, with a network that includes Miri, Bintulu, and Kota Samarahan.

Takashi Sakamaki, Chief Executive Officer of MMM, stated, “The opening of this new 4S centre is not just an expansion of our network, but a commitment to being closer to our customers and providing better service.”

“With these facilities, customers can enjoy a more convenient, smooth, and comprehensive ownership experience,” he added.

The Auto Pacifica 4S Centre in Miri is located at Lot 4448, K.B.L.D. 17, Jalan Miri Bypass, Autocity Eastwood Town Center, 98000 Miri, Sarawak.

It is open to customers from Monday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and on Sunday from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Isuzu Balakong service centre gets 4S status

Isuzu Malaysia has announced that the service centre operated by SV Prestige Auto in Balakong has received 4S status.

This means that the Isuzu 4S Centre in Balakong is now the third dealer in the Klang Valley to operate a fully integrated service facility, including vehicle sales, after-sales service, painting facilities, and certified body repairs.

Featuring the new corporate identity (CI) of Isuzu, this branch is located in a new light industrial area and offers a complete lineup of the Isuzu D-Max as well as other commercial trucks for sale.

The showroom can accommodate two units of pickup trucks, complete with a paperless display, allowing customers to explore the off-road capabilities of the D-Max digitally through a virtual reality simulator.

Meanwhile, the service centre can handle six vehicles at once, not only performing routine maintenance but also offering wheel alignment services and featuring a full-sized painting booth.

The vehicle body and paint centre is now recognized by major automotive insurance companies and serves as a panel for five leading insurance providers.

It is also awaiting approval to undertake heavy accident repairs, as all necessary equipment and training have already been completed.

According to Isuzu Malaysia’s Chief Executive Officer, Tomoyuki Yamaguchi, the new 4S Centre reflects Isuzu’s commitment to providing peace of mind to its customers.

“The opening of this latest Isuzu 4S Centre showcases modern and integrated facilities that reflect our ongoing efforts to ensure that owning an Isuzu vehicle is a pleasant experience.

“By offering comprehensive vehicle care services under one roof, customers can rest assured that their Isuzu vehicles receive thorough and guaranteed care,” said Yamaguchi.

The new SV Prestige Auto Isuzu 4S Center is located at Lot 1917-B, Jalan KPB 7, Kampung Baru Balakong Industrial Area. Alongside its 3S center in Puchong, the SV Prestige Auto showroom is open daily, while the service center operates from Monday to Saturday.

Proton offers Continental tire installation services at selected 3S/4Ss, prices starting from RM211

Proton has announced a strategic partnership with Continental Malaysia to further enhance the customer ownership experience nationwide.

Through this new collaboration, Proton will introduce integrated tire services at selected service centers across the country, where customers can purchase Continental tires at more competitive prices.

By the end of this year, Proton aims for at least 60 branches to provide this service, making it easier for customers to access complete maintenance packages under one roof.

In addition to competitively priced packages starting from RM211, there is also a Total Confidence Plan (TCP) protection package offered by Continental Malaysia.

This includes a one-year road damage guarantee and a complimentary one-for-one tire replacement for unforeseen cases.

Installment financing options are also available.

According to Roslan Abdullah, CEO of Proton Edar, “The introduction of the tire change service is the next step in our efforts to transform 3S/4S centers into a complete one-stop solution.

“This reflects our commitment to strengthening Proton’s image as the preferred automotive brand for Malaysians,” he elaborated.

Proton currently operates more than 173 service centers and 73 body and paint centers nationwide.

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia opens new 4S centre in Kota Samarahan

Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM), in collaboration with its dealer partner Auto Pacifica Sdn Bhd, has launched its second 4S centre in Sarawak.

With the opening of this latest facility, MMM now operates eight 4S centres nationwide.

Located at Lot 4168, Block 24, Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa, Kota Samarahan, this 4S centre is ideally positioned along the main road connecting Kota Samarahan to Kuching, making it easily accessible for customers in the area.

Spanning 21,700 square feet, the centre embodies Mitsubishi Motors’ brand identity and aligns with the global brand message ‘Drive Your Ambition’.

It also features a variety of amenities, including a service centre with multiple service bays and a body and paint shop, a lounge equipped with Wi-Fi, and a children’s corner.

“As MMM introduces new Mitsubishi Motors models in Malaysia, our goal is to enhance customer convenience by expanding our network of showrooms and service centers. The opening of this new showroom in Kota Samarahan is a strategic step towards reaching untapped locations and extending our services to a broader audience,” said Shinya Ikeda, Chief Executive Officer of MMM.

Ikeda further added that Auto Pacifica has been a trusted partner of Mitsubishi since 2009, and this marks the company’s third outlet in Bumi Kenyalang.

Chery opens largest 4S service center in Malaysia in Johor Bahru

After the successful opening of the 4S showroom in Kuantan last weekend, Chery Malaysia has now inaugurated another 4S center in the country.

Located in Johor Bahru, the Gagner Auto Sdn Bhd 4S center in Medini is the largest of its kind in Malaysia. The opening was graced by Tunku Abu Bakar Ibni Al-Marhum Tunku Bendahara Abdul Rahman and Tunku Abdul Samad Bin Tunku Mohd Archibald, along with several individuals from the industry partners and representatives of Chery Auto Malaysia.

This latest Chery 4S center features sales, service, spare parts, as well as body and paint facilities. It showcases eco-friendly design features and emphasizes efficient energy usage.

The opening of this 4S center also serves as a platform for the preview of Chery’s first EV model, the Omoda E5, in the southern region.

Janessa Kuek, a representative of Gagner Auto Sdn Bhd, stated, “We are proud to be the first branch in the southern region to host the preview of the upcoming model in Malaysia, the Omoda E5.”

“This signifies a significant moment in our commitment to bringing advanced vehicle innovations to our customers,” she added.
