2025 Moda Shifter 400X officially launched in Malaysia – prices starting from RM23,888

MDua Motor Sdn Bhd recently launched the Moda Shifter 400X adventure scooter, designed for users of all backgrounds.

It is powered by a single-cylinder, SOHC 333 cc liquid-cooled engine equipped with a fuel injection system, capable of producing 26.8 hp at 7,500 rpm and a torque of 33.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

The suspension system of the Shifter 400X consists of telescopic forks at the front and twin gas shock absorbers at the rear.

Braking is handled by a single 276 mm rotor at the front wheel and a single 240 mm rotor at the rear, enhanced with ABS and Traction Control System (TCS).

Notable features include an adjustable windscreen, adaptive headlights, emergency stop lights, a smart keyless system, as well as a USB charging slot and a 12V power socket available in the front storage compartment.

Under the 775 mm seat, there is ample storage space to accommodate two helmets.

All information can be displayed on a 7-inch color TFT screen, which can also connect to smart devices via the Ride App.

Lastly, the Shifter 400X comes equipped with front and rear dash cameras.

For the local market, the 2025 Moda Shifter 400X is available in Ninja Black and Ultra White color options. The selling price starts from RM23,888, excluding taxes, registration, and insurance.

SYM ADXTG 400 officially launched in Malaysia – priced at RM29,888

Another scooter has been launched by MForce Bike Holdings: the adventure scooter SYM ADXTG 400 2025.

According to SYM, the aggressive appearance and design of this scooter is heavily inspired by prehistoric tigers, particularly evident in the sharp front and rear lights.

The ADXTG 400 is powered by a liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine of 399 cc, delivering 35 hp at 7,000 rpm and a torque of 37 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

The Hyper-VVS technology contributes to a more economical fuel consumption level while providing exhilarating performance.

A unique feature of the ADXTG 400 scooter is the use of dual balancing shafts to reduce vibration, an inverted front fork, and a multi-link setup for the rear wheel.

Additionally, the rear wheel is driven by a chain system, rather than a belt like most scooters on the market.

It offers an off-road riding mode, an ABS braking system, and traction control to ensure safety on the road.

Other available features include a smart key system, a color LCD display, fast USB 3.0 charging, a 32-liter under-seat storage compartment, an adjustable manual windscreen, a seat height of 790 mm, and complete handlebar and engine protection.

MForce has announced that the SYM ADXTG 400 2025 will be priced at RM29,888 on the road, excluding insurance.

 

2025 Hanway Heritage 400 officially launched in Malaysia – RM22,800

Another Chinese brand has officially entered the Malaysian market, namely Hanway, which presents a new cruiser model called the Heritage 400.

The Hanway Heritage 400 features a bobber-style design offering either a single-seat option or a dual-seat configuration for two riders at a time.

It is powered by a liquid-cooled 401 cc twin-cylinder engine that produces 41.6 hp at 9,500 rpm and a torque of 34 Nm at 8,000 rpm.

This power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a six-speed transmission and chain final drive.

The cradle-type frame is supported by suspension that includes telescopic forks at the front, followed by twin shock absorbers with preload adjustment at the rear.

For braking, the bike is equipped with dual 300 mm rotors for the front wheel, complemented by a single 255 mm rotor at the rear, and a two-channel ABS system.

The Hanway Heritage 400 features amenities such as an LED headlight unit, a combination analog and digital display, a seat height of 690 mm, and a 12-liter fuel tank.

In Malaysia, the 2025 Hanway Heritage 400 is priced at RM22,800.

Recently, MForce Bike Holdings confirmed that it will launch a new adventure-style scooter, the SYM ADXTG 400 by mid-year.

In terms of appearance, the aggressive and angular design of the SYM ADXTG 400 is inspired by prehistoric tigers.

It features sharp LED lights at both the front and rear, alongside a more stylish exhaust.

The SYM ADXTG 400 is powered by a single-cylinder 399 cc engine capable of producing 35 hp at 7,000 rpm and 37 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, paired with a CVT transmission.

This scooter is also supported by Hyper-VVS technology, contributing to more economical fuel consumption and performance that does not disappoint.

Riding comfort is enhanced by two balancing shafts that reduce vibrations, complemented by an inverted front fork suspension and an aluminum swing arm with multi-link setup at the rear.

Interestingly, the ADXTG 400 also offers an off-road riding mode, along with ABS braking system and traction control.

Other features include wide handlebars, a smart key system, a color LCD display, a USB port with fast charging 3.0, an adjustable windscreen, as well as handlebar protectors and engine guards.

MForce revealed that the estimated selling price for the ADXTG 400 adventure scooter starts from below RM30,000. Is it worth it?
