Hyundai Motor Malaysia (HMY) is set to launch several new models next month.
One of these is the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe, a new generation mid-size crossover with a boxy design.
The new generation Santa Fe measures 4,830 mm in length, 1,900 mm in width, 1,780 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,815 mm.
For the local market, it will be offered in three variants: Prime, Prestige, and Calligraphy (six seats).
There are two engine options available: a 2.5-liter turbo engine producing 281 PS at 5,800 rpm and 422 Nm of torque at 1,700-4,000 rpm, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, or a 1.6-liter turbo hybrid engine with 235 PS at 5,500 rpm and 367 Nm at 1,000-4,000 rpm, coupled with an 8-speed DCT transmission.
Exterior features of the Santa Fe include LED headlights with front and rear H graphics, dark chrome finishes on the radiator grille, and hidden rear windshield wipers.
During the preview session, we were not allowed to view the cabin layout of the Santa Fe.
However, based on the global market model, we can expect this SUV to be equipped with a curved panel consisting of two 12.3-inch screens, as well as a separate panel for cabin climate control.
It is reported that the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe will be launched on July 2 in fully imported (CBU) units, while the locally assembled (CKD) version will be available starting in the third quarter of this year.
We will publish the full specifications of the 2025 Hyundai Santa Fe ahead of the official launch next week.
