2027 Yamaha RW350 unveiled, a 327 cc adventure scooter with Yamaha Dynamic Ride technology
Alongside the RW700, Yamaha has introduced another adventure scooter, the 2027 Yamaha RW350.
It is a middleweight adventure scooter that combines the benefits of a maxi-scooter with those of an adventure motorcycle.
The model features a new engine and Yamaha Dynamic Ride technology for riding stability and comfort.
Specifications
The Yamaha RW350 is powered by a 327 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine, producing 29.2 PS at 7,000 rpm and 31.5 Nm of torque at 5,750 rpm.
The engine is paired with an automatic CVT and a belt-drive system.
Yamaha Dynamic Ride technology mounts the engine directly to the frame, while the CVT unit moves with the rear suspension, pivoting around the crankshaft.
According to Yamaha, this layout reduces unsprung weight and allows greater freedom in rear suspension design.
A four-axis balancer also helps reduce vibration.
The suspension setup comprises a 37 mm upside-down front fork with 140 mm of travel, supported by twin rear shock absorbers with 105 mm of travel and seven-step adjustment.
Braking is handled by a single 282 mm front disc and a 245 mm rear disc.
Other features include:
- A 16-inch front wheel and a 14-inch rear wheel
- A 5-inch full-colour TFT display with MyRide app connectivity and Garmin StreetCross navigation
- Wide footpegs and foldable footboards
- A 13-litre fuel tank
- A seat height of 810 mm
- A smart key system
- Self-cancelling turn signals
The Yamaha RW350 also comes with electronic rider aids, including:
- Yamaha Ride Control (YRC) with Street, Explore and Eco modes
- Traction control
- Cruise control
- Emergency Stop Signalling (ESS)
