NEXEN TIRE launches N’BLUE S and N’FERA PRIMUS UX tyres in Malaysia

NEXEN TIRE Malaysia has introduced two new tyre products for the Malaysian market: the N’BLUE S and N’FERA PRIMUS UX.

Both products are developed to meet the demands of driving during the monsoon season, with a focus on safety, wet-weather grip and driving stability.

According to NEXEN, the new tyres are also suitable for electric vehicles (EVs).

The EV ROOT marking indicates their ability to accommodate the additional weight and instant torque of EVs.

N’BLUE S

The N’BLUE S is a touring tyre designed to help drivers maintain control during heavy rain.

Its tread pattern channels water away from the tyre’s contact patch to reduce the risk of aquaplaning, which occurs when a layer of water causes the tyre to lose contact with the road.

Low rolling resistance also helps reduce fuel consumption.

The N’BLUE S is fitted as original equipment (OE) on selected models, including the Volkswagen Golf and Audi A3.

In Malaysia, it is available in 110 sizes for 14- to 17-inch wheels.

N’FERA PRIMUS UX

The N’FERA PRIMUS UX is an ultra-high-performance tyre with a reinforced structure designed to improve comfort and stability during highway driving.

According to Nexen, its tread life is approximately 20% longer than that of its predecessor.

Developed under the One Universal Fit strategy, the tyre is suitable for vehicles from various European, Japanese, South Korean and Chinese brands.

It is available for 17- to 21-inch wheels.

Six-month replacement programme

Both ranges are covered by the NEXEN TIRE Replacement Programme, which offers a one-for-one replacement within six months for eligible damage caused by road hazards.

The programme is available through participating dealers, and customers must register their tyres at the time of purchase.

NEXEN TIRE Malaysia is also developing its own warranty programme, with further details to be announced.
