iCAUR V25 to make global debut on 19 October, offered with REEV and EV powertrains

The new iCAUR V25 is set to make its global debut on 19 October during the iCAUR International User Summit in Wuhu, China.

Within the V Series lineup, the iCAUR V25 is positioned between the smaller V23 and the larger V27.

Dimensions

The V25 measures 4,636 mm long, 1,920 mm wide and 1,855 mm tall, with a 2,820 mm wheelbase.

For comparison, the V27 measures 5,055 mm in length, while the V23 is 4,220 mm long.

Design

Like the other models in the V Series, the V25 retains the brand’s signature boxy styling, featuring:

  • Round headlamps
  • An open grille design
  • Squared wheel arches
  • Slim rear taillights

REEV and EV Powertrain Options

When first revealed a few months ago, the iCAUR V25 was introduced in Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) form.

The system combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine producing 154 hp, which functions as a generator for a 33.68 kWh LFP battery pack.

Electric power is then sent to a dual-motor setup generating 455 hp and 505 Nm of torque, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.9 seconds.

The V25 offers an electric-only driving range of 150 km (WLTC), while its total driving range can reach up to 1,200 km.

In addition to the REEV variant, the iCAUR V25 will also be available as a Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV).

The SUV is also equipped with the brand’s i-AWD all-wheel-drive system.

Interior

The V25’s cabin layout appears largely similar to that of the V23.

Key features include:

  • A digital instrument cluster
  • A 15.4-inch infotainment display
  • Four large physical control knobs in the centre console, including a dedicated drive mode selector
  • A wireless smartphone charging pad

More details about the iCAUR V25 are expected to be revealed ahead of its official global debut on 19 October.
