iCaur Malaysia has officially begun local assembly (CKD) operations for the iCaur 03 electric SUV in its RWD variant this month.

The first batch of CKD iCaur 03 RWD units is scheduled for delivery in October 2026.

For context, the CKD assembly programme for this model commenced at the Shah Alam plant in the second quarter of this year.

As with the iWD variant, the iCaur 03 RWD retains the same specifications as the fully imported (CBU) model.

It is powered by a rear‑mounted electric motor producing 184 PS and 220 Nm, along with five driving modes.

The 65.7 kWh LFP battery pack delivers an NEDC driving range of up to 426 km.

Charging support includes 6.6 kW AC charging and DC fast charging up to 80 kW.

The SUV is priced at RM119,740 on‑the‑road without insurance.
