Route 77 Harley-Davidson Kuala Lumpur recently handed over three motorcycles to the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) for a proof‑of‑concept (POC) evaluation.

The three models involved are:

• Low Rider ST
• Street Glide
• Pan America

The POC programme enables the Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department (JSPT) to assess suitability, performance, handling and overall practicality, particularly for escort duties and official operations.

Set to Perform at LTdL 2026

The upcoming Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) 2026 will serve as an ideal real‑world environment for JSPT personnel to experience each motorcycle platform under actual operational conditions.

Their deployment throughout LTdL 2026 forms part of the POC evaluation process and does not indicate permanent adoption by PDRM.

According to the JSPT Director, findings from the POC will help the department make an objective assessment based on current operational needs.

“With LTdL taking place during the evaluation period, it provides a real‑world environment for our personnel to assess these motorcycles in genuine riding and operational conditions.”

This initiative also reflects the collaboration between the private sector and PDRM in evaluating motorcycle platforms and technologies that may support the evolving requirements of traffic operations and escort duties.
