Pro-Net to develop e.MAS charging stations through strategic partnerships with major CPOs

Proton New Energy Technology Sdn Bhd (Pro-Net) has announced plans to introduce e.MAS‑branded charging stations nationwide.

Through strategic collaborations with DC Handal, JomCharge and chargEV, several charging stations will be established at key locations beginning in the third quarter of 2026.

e.MAS owners will also enjoy special charging rates when making payments via the Proton e.MAS mobile application.

Access to Over 4,700 Charging Points

As of today, owners can access more than 4,700 charging points, covering over 90% of Malaysia, through the Proton e.MAS mobile app.

This feature is complemented by a live charging map integrated directly into e.MAS vehicles.

The strategic partnership with major Charge Point Operators (CPOs) marks the next step in expanding the Proton e.MAS ecosystem and bringing the brand’s charging experience to more public locations.

Pro-Net Chief Executive Officer Zhang Qiang said, “As more Malaysians choose electric vehicles, access to charging facilities becomes increasingly important.

“Through collaborations with major CPOs, we aim to make charging easier while offering added benefits to e.MAS owners at key locations.”

Pro-Net Head of Charging Division Ahmad Munif Halim added, “By working with experienced CPOs, we can simplify the charging process while giving customers access to existing support networks whenever assistance is needed.

“All these efforts help us deliver a better charging experience for e.MAS owners.”
