NIZRA Auto officially opens Xpeng Store Damansara
NIZRA Auto has officially opened the Xpeng Store Damansara showroom in the strategic township of Damansara Utama.
The launch reflects NIZRA Auto’s long-term strategy to build a mobility business anchored in innovation, customer experience, and smart mobility.
The opening ceremony was officiated by Tan Sri Mokhzani Tun Mahathir, President of the Malaysian Motorsports Association (MAM).
Also in attendance were Dato’ Sri Francis Lee Kok Chuan, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bermaz Auto Berhad; Dato’ Sri Amer Hamzah Ahmad, Chairman and Executive Director of Prima Maju Auto Sdn Bhd; and Wan Zarel Harun, Head of Bermaz Xpeng.
Xpeng Is More Than Just an Automotive Brand
Nik Iruwan Dato’ Nik Izani, Founder and Group Chief Executive Officer of NIZRA Group Berhad, said: “Many see Xpeng as an electric vehicle company. We see it as a technology company.
“The car is where artificial intelligence (AI), software, connectivity, and autonomous technology converge.”
He added that the latest partnership reflects a shared vision between NIZRA and Xpeng to drive innovation, pursue continuous improvement, and build the future of mobility.
He also expressed his appreciation to Bermaz Auto Berhad for its confidence in NIZRA Auto.
“Our aspiration is not merely to sell vehicles. We are building a future mobility company that prioritises technology, delivers the best ownership experience, and continues to grow alongside our customers,” he said.
In addition to opening the showroom, NIZRA Auto plans to develop dedicated after-sales and service facilities to offer a more complete ownership experience.
Concluding his speech, Nik Iruwan described the opening of Xpeng Store Damansara as the beginning of a much larger journey for NIZRA.
Partnership with AiMotion
Nik Iruwan also announced a partnership with AiMotion as part of a broader digital transformation initiative.
The new collaboration will integrate AI into customer interactions, business operations, and decision-making processes across all companies within the group.
“Artificial intelligence is not only transforming vehicles. It is going to change the way businesses operate,” he said.
“At NIZRA, we are committed to embracing that transformation across the Group,” he added.
