2026 Foton Tunland V7 & V9 officially launched in Malaysia, prices starting from RM123,800
Handal BCM Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor of Foton in Malaysia has launched the full-size pickup truck, the 2026 Foton Tunland.
The selling prices are as follows:
- Foton Tunland V7 – RM123,800
- Foton Tunland V9 – RM143,800
The first 888 customers will receive a cash rebate of RM2,000 along with a free 2-year maintenance package.
Dimensions & Chassis
As a full-size pickup truck, the Tunland features dimensions of 5,677 mm in length, 2,090 mm in width, and 1,955 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,355 mm. The ground clearance is 240 mm.
The Tunland V7 is equipped with a double wishbone/spring leaf suspension setup and hydraulic steering, while the Tunland V9 features a multi-link rear suspension along with electronic power steering.
First Hybrid Diesel Truck in Malaysia
Both trucks are powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine that produces 163 PS at 3,600 rpm and a torque of 450 Nm at 1,500-2,400 rpm.
The 48V hybrid system adds an extra 12 PS and 50 Nm, contributing to a fuel consumption rate of 8.8L/100 km.
This power is transmitted to a four-wheel drive system via an 8-speed automatic transmission.
With a fuel tank capacity of 76 liters, the truck can travel up to 950 km.
Options for driving modes include 2H, 4H, 4L, and Auto, as well as Eco, Sport, Normal, Sand, Mud, and Snow driving modes.
With this drivetrain, the Tunland V7 and V9 can tow a load of 3.5 tons and have a maximum payload capacity of 895 kg.
