KTM Malaysia launches four 390 Series models, starting from RM27,300
Eurotech Wheel Distribution Sdn Bhd, the exclusive distributor for the KTM brand has launched four new models of the KTM 390 series for the Malaysian market.
Here is a list of the models along with their selling prices:
- KTM 390 SMC R – RM27,300
- KTM 390 Enduro R – RM27,300
- KTM 390 Adventure X – RM29,300
- KTM 390 Adventure R – RM33,300
It has been reported that another model, the KTM 390 Duke, is expected to arrive in the fourth quarter of this year with a selling price of RM30,300.
Power Specifications
All models in the KTM 390 series are powered by a single-cylinder 399 cc engine capable of generating 45 PS and 39 Nm of torque.
The power is transmitted to the wheels through a six-speed transmission.
KTM 390 SMC R
The 390 SMC R Supermoto is equipped with a WP Apex 43 mm front fork (with a wheel travel of 230 mm) and a WP Apex Separate Piston rear shock.
The braking system features Bybre calipers with a 320 mm radial rotor at the front and a single-piston caliper with a 240 mm rotor at the rear.
Other features include:
- 4.2-inch TFT display
- Bosch ABS system with Supermoto ABS option
- Two riding modes (Street & Sport)
KTM 390 Enduro R
The Enduro R is the smallest displacement variant in KTM’s dual-sport lineup, inspired by the KTM 690 Enduro R.
Weighing approximately 159 kg, it is also equipped with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoke wheels.
It utilizes the same suspension setup as the 390 SMC R.
Other features include:
- 4.2-inch TFT display
- Bosch ABS system with Offroad ABS option
- Adjustable brake and clutch levers, and footpegs
KTM 390 Adventure X
This model serves as the entry-level option in KTM’s adventure segment, featuring rally-inspired design.
The suspension setup includes a WP Apex fork at the front and a WP Apex Emulsion shock at the rear, along with Offroad ABS capabilities.
Other standard equipment includes:
- 5-inch LCD display
- Seat height of 825 mm
- 14-liter fuel tank
KTM 390 Adventure R
In contrast to the Adventure X model, the 390 Adventure R is a more hardcore variant.
It features three riding modes: Street, Off-road, and Rain, as well as a rally-style windscreen.
The suspension consists of a WP Apex Open Cartridge 43 mm fork with a wheel travel of 230 mm, along with a WP Apex Separate Piston rear shock.
Additional features include:
- 5-inch TFT display
- Motorcycle Traction Control (MTC)
- Cornering ABS & Offroad ABS
