2025 Chery Tiggo 8 CSH launched in Malaysia – starting from RM159,800

In addition to the Chery Tiggo 7 CSH, Chery Malaysia has also announced the official sales price for its latest plug-in hybrid SUV model, the Tiggo 8 CSH 2025.

Here are some key facts you need to know:

Engine

The Tiggo 8 CSH is powered by the same powertrain used in the Tiggo 7 CSH, producing a total output of 279 PS and a torque of 365 Nm.

Battery

This SUV is equipped with an 18.3 kWh battery pack that offers an electric-only range of 90 km.

It supports AC charging at 6.6 kW as well as DC fast charging at 40 kW, and includes a vehicle-to-load (V2L) function with 3.3 kW output.

With a fuel tank capacity of 60 liters, this SUV can achieve an overall driving range of up to 1,200 km.

Dimensions

The Tiggo 8 CSH measures 4,725 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,705 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,710 mm.

The cargo capacity is 117 liters, or 494 liters when the third-row seats are folded down. The total capacity is 1,930 liters.

Features

Features included are 19-inch rims, front and rear LED lights, a panoramic glass roof, a power tailgate, a spoiler, roof rails, and a shark fin antenna.

The cabin features a 10.25-inch cluster display and a 15.6-inch infotainment screen complete with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a Sony audio system with 10 speakers, a 540-degree surround camera, ambient lighting with 64 colors, dual-zone automatic climate control, and acoustic glass.

Safety

Safety features available include eight airbags, ISOFIX anchor points, Traction Control System (TCS), a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and a Driving Video Recorder (DVR).

The Tiggo 8 CSH also offers Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features including Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA), Front and Rear Collision Warning (FCW & RCW), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), and a unique Driver Fatigue Monitoring System (DFS).

Three color options are available: Aurora Green, Khaki White, and Carbon Black.

The starting price for the Chery Tiggo 8 CSH 2025 is RM159,800.
