Bridgestone Tyre Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has announced the arrival of its new premium tyre product, the Turanza 6, designed for the passenger vehicle segment.

According to Michael Chung, Managing Director of Bridgestone Malaysia, “This new flagship tyre combines outstanding performance with a focus on sustainability, showcasing Bridgestone’s commitment to safety, innovation, and environmental responsibility in the premium tyre segment.”

The Turanza 6 features ENLITEN™ technology, prioritizing quietness, comfort, and wet grip as the key improvements over the existing Turanza T005A tyre.

Bridgestone states that the Turanza 6 can reduce noise levels by 8 percent and improve comfort by 8 percent for a quieter, more comfortable driving experience.

Wet grip performance has also increased by 14 percent, contributing to greater handling confidence in challenging conditions.

In addition to conventional vehicles, the Turanza 6 tyres are also suitable for most electric vehicles (EVs).

This low rolling resistance tyre can extend battery life and reduce range anxiety among EV owners.

At the same time, it is also more resistant to the load and torque levels that are generally much higher in EVs compared to conventional cars.

In line with the theme of sustainability, Bridgestone has reduced the use of new raw materials in the construction of the Turanza 6, thereby lowering the CO2 emissions during the raw material stage.

With lower rolling resistance, energy consumption during driving is reduced, contributing to a 13 percent cut in CO2 emissions for every kilometer traveled.

The Bridgestone Turanza 6 tyre has been available in the market since August 1, 2025, with size options ranging from 14 to 21 inches.

From August 1 to 31, 2025, customers who purchase four Turanza 6 tyres in a single receipt will receive a limited edition 2-in-1 convertible  blanket pillow gift (while stocks last).
