800 units of Denza D9 sold within a week of launch

BYD Malaysia has announced that it has managed to sell 800 units of the Denza D9 within just one week of its launch.

The D9 was launched on our shores on February 20 at a price of RM259,000 for the Advanced FWD variant and RM309,000 for the Premium AWD variant.

It comes with a warranty of up to eight years or 160,000 km for the battery (with a State of Health over 70%), as well as a warranty of up to eight years or 150,000 km for the drive motor and its controller. A vehicle warranty of up to six years or 150,000 km is also included.

The Advanced FWD variant is powered by a single electric motor positioned at the front axle, generating 308 hp and 360 Nm, enabling it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 9.5 seconds.

The Premium AWD variant, which features two electric motors, boasts a higher output of 369 hp and 470 Nm, reducing the 0-100 km/h acceleration time to just 6.9 seconds.

Both variants utilise a 103 kWh Blade LFP battery, offering a WLTP range of up to 600 km for the Advanced FWD and 580 km for the Premium AWD.
