2024 Royal Enfield Himalayan officially launched, starting from RM30,600

The Didi Group, as the sole importer and distributor of the Royal Enfield motorcycle brand in Malaysia, has recently launched the Himalayan model at the Art Of Speed 2024 event.
It is powered by a liquid-cooled Sherpa 452cc engine capable of producing 40 PS @ 8,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 40 Nm @ 5,500 rpm.
With a generous ground clearance (230 mm), the Royal Enfield Himalayan also features long-travel suspension, including a 43mm inverted front fork by Showa and a rear mono-shock absorber, to easily handle various terrains.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan maintains a combination of 21-inch front and 17-inch rear aluminum alloy rims, with a wider 140/80 rear tire for greater grip.
The 17-liter fuel tank has been redesigned to provide comfort to the rider, along with adjustable saddle height starting from 805 mm and can be raised to 845 mm depending on the rider’s height.
All essential information can be accessed via the round TripperDash display screen, which also offers mapping navigation using the Google Maps Platform and audio guidance in over 130 languages.
Riders can choose to set their riding mode to Performance or Eco through the ride-by-wire throttle control, and can deactivate the rear wheel ABS for a more enjoyable off-road riding experience.
Royal Enfield Malaysia also offers over 30 genuine accessories for the Himalayan, including aluminum storage boxes, taller windshields, LED fog lights, mudguards, rally seats, soft bags, and much more.
Three variants are offered, namely Base (Kaza Brown), Pass (Slate Himalayan Salt or Slate Poppy Blue), and Summit (Hanle Black or Kamet White), with prices ranging from RM30,600 to RM32,200.
