Two Harley-Davidson owners from Malaysia are recognized by MBOR as the first to conquer Umling La Pass

The Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) has officially recognized two outstanding achievements by Malaysian riders, Dato Muruganantham @ Anand and K.V.R. Sanjevee.

A recent event celebrated their record-setting journey, which is the longest distance covered on a Harley-Davidson motorcycle in a pair, reaching a total of 11,475 km in India.

Dato Muruganantham and K.V.R Sanjevee are also recognized as the first Harley-Davidson owners from Malaysia to successfully conquer Umling La Pass, the highest pass in the world at an altitude of 5,798 meters.

The event was attended by YB Senator Dato’ Sivarajah Chandran, Jegan Kasinathan (Regional Director of H.O.G), Lau Chye Wang (Head of Harley-Davidson Malaysia), as well as distinguished guests and Harley-Davidson owners.

During the ceremony, a representative from the Malaysia Book of Records commended the dedication, resilience, and spirit of adventure displayed by Malaysian riders on the global stage.

This achievement also firmly places Malaysia on the world motorcycle map, inspiring the Harley-Davidson community and adventure motorcyclists throughout the region.

Harley-Davidson Malaysia launches new cruiser line-up – starting from RM119,900

In conjunction with the recent 2025 Art of Speed event, Harley-Davidson Malaysia took the opportunity to launch six updated cruiser models.

Here is the list of the six models offered:

  • Street Bob – RM119,900
  • Heritage Classic – RM143,900
  • Breakout – RM146,900
  • Fat Boy – RM149,900
  • Low Rider S – RM134,900
  • Low Rider ST – RM150,900

All of these cruiser units are built on the same Softail chassis, featuring a hidden single rear suspension.

The six new cruiser models are equipped with the Milwaukee-Eight™ 117 engine, displacing 1,923 cc, but they come with different power calibrations.

The Street Bob and Heritage Classic receive the Classic Powertrain tuning with 91 hp and 156 Nm, while the Breakout and Fat Boy come with the Custom Powertrain tuning, offering 103 hp and 168 Nm.

Meanwhile, the Low Rider S and ST are tuned for High Output, delivering 114 hp and 173 Nm.

Harley-Davidson Malaysia announces special promotion, save up to RM19,000

Harley-Davidson Malaysia has announced a special promotional campaign for fans of the lifestyle brand.

Starting now until March 31, 2025, Harley-Davidson customers have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive offers with savings of up to RM19,000 on select 2024 Softail models.

For the Breakout 117 model, buyers can enjoy savings of up to RM19,000, while the Low Rider ST 117 model offers savings of up to RM15,000.

In conjunction with Harley Night 2025, Harley-Davidson Malaysia will make a special announcement while celebrating the iconic Fat Boy 114 model.

Harley Night 2025 will take place simultaneously at all Harley-Davidson dealerships located in Petaling Jaya, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, and Kota Kinabalu.
