PETRONAS Lubricants International partners with UM Motorcycles to supply PETRONAS Sprinta across global markets
PETRONAS Lubricants International (PLI) has announced a strategic partnership with UM Motorcycles.
Founded in 1999, UM Motorcycles is an American motorcycle brand based in Miami, Florida.
With a presence in more than 40 countries, the brand offers a range of motorcycles, including cruisers, naked bikes, adventure models and scooters.
Supplying PETRONAS Sprinta lubricants
Under the agreement, PLI will supply PETRONAS Sprinta motorcycle lubricants to UM Motorcycles’ distribution and aftersales networks in selected markets across Asia Pacific, Europe, Africa and Latin America.
The initial phase will introduce selected products featuring UltraFlex™ technology, formulated to deliver immediate response and simultaneous protection for the engine, clutch and gears.
These lubricants also support engine durability across various riding conditions, from cold starts and stop-start traffic to demanding rides on the open road.
The partnership creates opportunities for PLI to expand internationally, while UM Motorcycles’ network benefits from the company’s lubricant expertise.
PLI will also support dealer development, technical training and joint marketing activities to deliver greater value to customers and strengthen aftersales service.
The first products are scheduled to become available in October 2026, starting in Asia, before being progressively introduced across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), followed by the Americas.
