2026 Honda City Hatchback facelift officially launched in Malaysia, priced from RM95,900
Honda Malaysia has officially launched the 2026 Honda City Hatchback Facelift for the Malaysian market.
Available in three variants, the updated City Hatchback is priced as follows:
- City V: RM95,900
- City RS: RM100,900
- City e:HEV RS: RM112,900
Refreshed styling
The Honda City Hatchback now features a refreshed design, enhanced connectivity features, and a more comprehensive suite of safety technologies for the B-segment market.
All variants now come with a new front-end design incorporating Connected Headlights and new Bi-LED headlights.
The RS variants are fitted with 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels finished in Berlina Black and Dark Clear, while the V variant receives wheels finished in Shark Gray.
Customers can choose from four exterior colour options:
- Platinum White Pearl
- Meteoroid Gray Metallic
- Stellar Diamond Pearl
- Blazing Red Pearl (new colour)
More modern and practical cabin
The interior receives several updates, including a redesigned dashboard featuring a 3D Pattern Mid Garnish and ambient lighting, creating a more premium cabin atmosphere.
The RS variants also gain newly designed sports seats complemented by distinctive red stitching.
The infotainment system has been upgraded with a larger 10-inch Display Audio touchscreen, while a wireless charger is now available for added convenience.
In terms of practicality, the City Hatchback continues to offer Honda’s signature ULTRA Seats with four configurable modes:
- Utility Mode
- Long Mode
- Tall Mode
- Refresh Mode
Enhanced safety technologies
Honda has strengthened the safety package by making several key features standard across all variants.
These include:
- Blind Spot Information (BSI) with Cross Traffic Monitoring
- Honda LaneWatch
- Honda SENSING
Additionally, the RS variants are now equipped with a 360° Multi-View Camera System.
Choice of petrol or hybrid powertrain
The new City Hatchback is available with either a 1.5-litre DOHC i-VTEC petrol engine or a 1.5-litre e:HEV hybrid powertrain.
The e:HEV RS variant delivers 109 PS and 253 Nm of torque, offering responsive performance and excellent fuel efficiency.
For added peace of mind, Honda Malaysia provides a 10-year hybrid battery warranty with unlimited mileage for the e:HEV variant.
Meanwhile, both petrol and hybrid variants are covered by an eight-year vehicle warranty with unlimited mileage.
Launch promotions
As part of the launch campaign, customers who register any variant of the new City Hatchback will receive a RM4,000 cash reward.
Honda Malaysia is also offering a RM2,000 rebate for existing Honda owners who trade in their vehicles through the Honda Certified Used Car (HCUC) programme.
In addition, through a collaboration with CARSOME, customers who trade in any vehicle brand at participating Honda authorised dealerships will receive an additional RM1,000 rebate towards the purchase of a new Honda.
