2026 Mazda CX-5 officially in Malaysia – 2.5 High variant, priced at RM171,510
Bermaz Motor has officially announced the arrival of the all-new 2026 Mazda CX-5 for the Malaysian market.
Offered in a single 2.5 High variant, the CX-5 is priced at RM171,510 on-the-road without insurance.
Powertrain
The new-generation CX-5 is equipped with a 2.5L Skyactiv-G engine producing 185 hp at 6,000 rpm and 257 Nm at 4,000 rpm.
Power is sent to the front wheels via a 6‑speed automatic transmission.
Fuel consumption is rated at around 7.6L per 100 km.
Chassis & Dimensions
The Mazda CX-5 uses a suspension setup consisting of MacPherson struts at the front and a multi-link system at the rear.
It measures 4,690 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 1,695 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm.
Ground clearance stands at 200 mm, while the turning radius is 5.60 metres.
As standard, the CX-5 comes with 19-inch metallic black alloy wheels (225/55 R19 tyres). The fuel tank capacity is 56 litres.
Equipment
Compared to the previous generation, the new CX-5 adopts an updated Kodo design language, featuring slimmer and sharper lighting elements.
Exterior features include LED headlights with DRLs, a powered tailgate, rear spoiler, body cladding and Piano Black bumper trim, as well as roof rails.
One of the biggest changes lies inside the cabin.
It no longer features a physical infotainment control knob or physical climate control buttons.
Almost all vehicle functions are now integrated into a 12.9-inch central touchscreen.
