2026 BYD Atto 3 Performance officially launched in Malaysia, limited to 69 units, priced from RM149,800
BYD Sime Motors today officially announced the new Atto 3 Performance variant for the Malaysian market.
Only 69 units will be offered, in conjunction with the celebration of Malaysia’s 69th Merdeka anniversary.
The Atto 3 Performance is priced from RM149,800.
To mark its launch, customers will receive a RM10,000 introductory package, consisting of the following options:
- Wallbox charger installation + Overtrade up to RM6,000
- 6-year standard service package + Overtrade up to RM5,000
Specifications
Unlike the existing Atto 3 variants, the Atto 3 Performance features a dual‑motor electric setup with all‑wheel drive (AWD).
It produces 449 PS and 570 Nm of torque.
The SUV accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds, with a top speed of 200 km/h.
Power comes from a 74.8 kWh LFP Blade battery, delivering a WLTP driving range of 470 km.
With an 800V electrical architecture, the Atto 3 Performance supports DC fast charging up to 220 kW, enabling a 10–80% charge in 25 minutes.
In terms of equipment, it retains the same features found in the Premium variant, including:
- 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster
- 15.6-inch infotainment display
- Panoramic sunroof
- 50W wireless smartphone charging
- Dual-zone climate control
Exclusive to the Performance variant are two new features:
- Windshield Head-Up Display (W-HUD)
- Temperature-controlled storage compartment in the centre console (cooling & heating)

As standard, the Atto 3 Performance is equipped with seven airbags and a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including:
- Intelligent Speed Limit Control (ISLC)
- Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR)
- Front & Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Braking (FCTA & FCTB)
