Perodua has announced a price reduction of up to RM4,700 for its Axia compact model, effective immediately.
With this adjustment, the Axia now starts from RM33,900, compared to its previous base price of RM38,600.
New Axia pricing
- Axia 1.0G – RM33,900 (‑RM4,700)
- Axia 1.0X – RM38,500 (‑RM1,500)
- Axia 1.0SE – RM43,000 (‑RM1,000)
- Axia 1.0AV – RM49,000 (‑RM500)
Perodua President and CEO, Dato’ Sri Zainal Abidin Ahmad, said the revised pricing is part of the company’s efforts to ease the cost burden faced by Malaysians.
“This move reflects our ongoing efforts to improve operational efficiency, as seen previously through reduced service costs, the lower QV‑E pricing, and the Battery as a Service (BaaS) package we introduced.”
Perodua assures that the Axia’s specifications and quality standards remain unchanged.
The savings, the company says, come entirely from process improvements and enhanced operational efficiency.
“The price reduction is the result of continuous and sustainable improvement initiatives, as well as strong collaboration with our suppliers and partners within the automotive ecosystem,” he added.
