2026 BYD Sealion 7 launched in Malaysia – 3 variants, priced from RM164k
BYD Sime Motors has officially announced updates for the 2026 BYD Sealion 7 electric SUV.
The new prices are as follows:
- Sealion 7 Dynamic – RM163,800
- Sealion 7 Premium – RM188,800
- Sealion 7 Performance – RM203,800
The first 300 customers for the Dynamic variant will receive either a complimentary wallbox charger or a rebate of up to RM4,000, bringing the effective price down to RM159,800.
The Premium variant includes a wallbox charger and trade‑in support worth up to RM3,888, while the Performance variant offers a wallbox charger and trade‑in support up to RM2,888.
Upgraded Specifications
Compared to the Sealion 7 launched last year, the 2026 model now adopts an 800V electrical architecture.
It also supports DC fast charging up to 230 kW, a significant improvement over the previous model.
The base Dynamic variant continues to use a 400V architecture with DC charging up to 110 kW.

BYD Malaysia has also introduced a new Ultraviolet exterior colour option for the Premium variant.
Dimensions
The BYD Sealion 7 measures 4,830 mm in length, 1,925 mm in width, 1,620 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,930 mm.
Standard wheel size is 19 inches, while the Performance variant receives 20‑inch wheels.
Cargo capacity is 520 litres (500 litres for the Dynamic), along with a 58‑litre frunk.
