2027 Ferrari Amalfi Spider officially unveiled
In conjunction with the debut of the Amalfi in the region, Ferrari has also officially revealed the 2027 Amalfi Spider on a global stage.
The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is a 2+ convertible with a fabric soft top, allowing drivers and passengers to enjoy the exhilaration of open-air driving.
At the same time, it retains the sporty DNA configuration characteristic of Ferrari.
Ferrari also introduced a new color, Rosso Tramonto, inspired by the coastal ambiance of Amalfi.
Elegant Soft Top Roof
Although it features a fabric roof, the overall design of the Amalfi Spider remains sleek, akin to that of a coupe with a fixed roof.
Key features of the soft top roof include:
- Unique texture for a shimmering 3D effect
- Five-layer fabric that provides sound and heat insulation comparable to a folding hardtop
- It takes 13.5 seconds to open at speeds of up to 60 km/h
- Four color options and two choices of technical fabrics, including the new Tecnico Ottanio color
This structure is 220 mm thick, and when folded and stored in the 255-liter cargo space, there is still approximately 172 liters of usable space.
Engine & Technology
Like the Amalfi Coupe, the Amalfi Spider is powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with an 8-speed DCT transmission.
It delivers 640 hp at 7,500 rpm, with a specific power output of 166 hp per liter.
Driving dynamics are enhanced by a rear active spoiler with three configurations:
- Low Drag
- Medium Downforce
- High Downforce
The Amalfi Spider comes equipped with five driving modes, ABS Evo, Side Slip Control (SSC) 6.1, and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Comfortable Cabin Even with the Roof Down
To ensure comfort while driving with the roof down, Ferrari has added a wind deflector.
This feature is integrated into the rear headrests, reducing wind buffeting and noise, and can be activated at the press of a button.
Like the Amalfi Coupe, the Spider’s cabin features a dual cockpit layout.
The 2+ configuration adds practicality, with rear seating suitable for children or extra storage space.
Other features include:
- Steering wheel equipped with physical control buttons
- 15.6-inch digital cluster screen
- 10.25-inch central screen
- 8.8-inch passenger screen
- Support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Wireless charging slot
Price
The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is priced at €270,000 (approximately RM1.22 million).
In comparison, a Ferrari Amalfi starts at €240,000 (approximately RM1.09 million).
